Ciras Imaging Rebrands as Ferocious Graphix

ARLINGTON, Tenn.— A fixture of Memphis-area graphic design is changing names. Ciras-Imaging, a graphic design, sign and creative arts company based near the town’s Depot Square is set to become Morey Digital, Inc.

Chris Morey, the shop’s owner, says the rebrand is part of a push to build a fresh identity for the award-winning company. “We wanted to do something new,” said Morey. “We’ve been in Arlington since 2000, and we love it here. We’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the best business owners in town, and even more lucky to bring home some nice hardware to go along with it. But it’s time for something new.”

Morey’s company has brought home four Best of Arlington awardsand a 2012 Addy award for its work with Exhibit A, Inc. on Don Furr’s book Quest for the Nailprints. “The Addy was really an awesome achievement. We thought it was cool to just be on the ballot with the big downtown ad agencies, and winning one to this day inspires us and just shows the caliber of work our staff is capable of,” said Morey.

Under the new company, Morey Digital, the firm is emphasizing a new Ferocious Graphix identity.

“The idea for Ferocious Graphix came from our favorite projects at Ciras,” said Morey. “The craziest vehicle wraps, massive wall graphics and even some homegrown projects in the garage. We re-wrapped the company truck with a giant dinosaur on the side, and the plan is to take it over to Plumpy’s [BBQ] and gobble up the whole kitchen.”
